Seafood from Norway

The Norwegian Seafood Council markets Norwegian seafood in thirteen countries from Sweden to Singapore under the "Seafood from Norway" brand, but each market had managed it separately, producing different interpretations from market to market. TRY Reklame created one shared brand concept focused on Norway's people, tough clean nature and the sea; TRY Apt built a unified digital solution bringing every market's website onto one platform aligned with it.

Moves to a species detail page, "Blue Mussel," over mussels-on-ice imagery, with a right-rail species selector (Salmon, Cod, Kingcrab, Blue Mussel, Saithe, Trout, Herring, Capelin...).

Challenge

The Norwegian Seafood Council promotes Norwegian seafood across thirteen markets: Sweden, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, the USA, Japan, China, Singapore and Central and West Africa, under the "Seafood from Norway" brand. Until now, each market managed the brand separately, producing inconsistent interpretations from market to market.

Solution

TRY Reklame created a new shared brand concept centred on Norway's people, its tough, clean nature and the sea. TRY Apt then built the digital strategy: one unified website design replacing the separate per-market sites, with large imagery and film content, a fixed menu bar with shortcuts and a deliberately stripped down design that puts the product first. The colour palette reinforces a cold, fresh Norwegian climate, and content ranges from factual seafood information to recipes and editorial stories.
