Skall Studio's new visual expression
TRY eCommerce built a custom Shopify theme for Skall Studio's online stores and handled localisation for the German and American markets. After a full brand refresh led by Copenhagen-based Barkas Studio, Skall chose to stay on Shopify, the platform it knows and trusts, but with a new, custom-built expression that supports a slow-living and cottage-core aesthetic, one it can largely maintain itself.
Challenge
Skall Studio had used Shopify for years, and trusted the platform. When it decided to refresh its brand and elevate its visual expression, it wanted to stay on Shopify rather than migrate to a new platform, while remaining largely able to maintain its online store on its own.
Solution
Copenhagen-based Barkas Studio led the brand refresh, giving Skall a clearer identity and a renewed aesthetic. TRY eCommerce built a custom Shopify theme for all of Skall's online stores, tailored to the new design, and handled localisation for the German and American markets. The result gave Skall the tools to create content that conveys its slow-living, cottage-core aesthetic.
Results
Skall Studio is now ready for the next chapter: an online store that matches its new brand, built on a platform it already knows and can largely run itself. The foundation is laid for further growth, and Skall has called working with TRY a truly great experience.
