Holzweiler
Holzweiler has grown from a Norwegian brand selling through wholesale into an international player with its own stores and a webshop that is its most important global storefront. TRY eCommerce (formerly Frend eCommerce) has been a strategic partner since 2020, upgrading technology, platforms and tools repeatedly to keep pace with that growth without ever pausing to catch up.

Holzweiler's rapid international growth outpaced the technology behind it. During sales and major product launches, the team monitored uptime second by second from what they called war rooms, ready to step in the moment anything broke. The strain was real: a webshop that had become the brand's most important storefront needed to handle spikes without constant manual intervention.
In late 2024, TRY eCommerce, formerly Frend eCommerce, delivered a complete technical upgrade. A new headless architecture on Centra, a new CMS in Storyblok, a new React and Next.js frontend, a move to Voyado for CRM and Depict.ai for AI driven merchandising, all wrapped in TRY's own eCommerce accelerator. Barkas delivered the storefront's new visual design.
The team no longer watches uptime through a launch. The storefront runs stable and fast, and absorbs traffic spikes without manual monitoring. Holzweiler's Head of Digital says the team is smaller than it was five years ago, yet turns over significantly more and delivers higher quality work, crediting the technology for letting them work smarter and scale faster.
Holzweiler will always work with the best.
